BEANIE SIGEL BREATHING THROUGH TUBE

PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. (AP) _ Beanie Sigel still is in critical but stable condition after being shot in the abdomen Friday at his brother-in-law’s house in Pleasantville, New Jersey. Pleasantville police Lieutenant Danny Adcock tells The Philadelphia Inquirer Sigel is breathing with the aid of a tube and is unable to speak, but he is sometimes awake. Adcock says Sigel was not the intended target. Adcock says Sigel’s brother-in-law, Umar Salahuddin, was found with scrapes and bruises but has refused to say how he got them and has refused to co-operate with detectives. Adcock says the bullet that struck Sigel may have come from one or two vehicles near the home.
