Scarborough Players is proud to be celebrating its 60th anniversary with the 2018-2019 season!  To honour this achievement, Scarborough Players is engaging the community on social media to share their special memories of past productions as well as celebrating during the next show of the 60thseason!  Join us for the hilarious production of Caught in the Net directed by Meg Gibson.

Theatre Scarborough’s new Hearing Loop System is now operating in the theatre.  With this loop system, hearing aid wearers can hear the program directly through their hearing aids, simply by switching the hearing aid to the telecoil (T) setting and adjusting the volume as needed. Others desiring hearing assistance may obtain a portable receiver and headset from one of the attendants.

Play Synopsis

Teenagers, Gavin and Vicki, happen to meet surfing the internet. They are attracted to each other and yet are amazed by all the coincidences — each having a father with the same name, same age, and same occupation. Why? Find out in this uproarious farce as the reasons unfold and as boy and girl attempt to meet for a date. How will they be stopped?

Recommended for ages 12 and up.

Our very popular Audience Talk-Back will be held after the Thursday, April 18th performance.  After the play, we invite you to remain seated as the cast and crew return to the stage in an informal Question and Answer session.  Here is your chance!  Would you like to learn what happens “behind the scenes?”  The price of this performance is the same price as all other performances, and attending the Audience Talk Back is free.
