Class is Class celebrates 20 years on February 25th 2017

POS, Trinidad (Sonique Solutions) – The Lions Club of Port-Of-Spain Central will celebrate the 20th edition of its annual fundraising all-inclusive fete ‘Class is Class’.

The celebrated Carnival Saturday staple takes place on Saturday 25th February 2017, 4pm – 10pm at the Lions Cultural Centre, Fitz Blackman Drive, Woodbrook and is promising to be an intimate gathering of sophisticated fete lovers in a festive, elegant atmosphere.

 

For the last 2 decades the beloved all-inclusive affair has remained a fixture on the T&T Carnival calendar and has gained a substantial following, as evidenced by its loyal patrons who make this their fete of choice for the event-filled Carnival weekend.

Class is Class is produced by the Lions Club of Port-Of-Spain Central with the purpose of fundraising. In keeping with the mandate of Lions Clubs International, all proceeds from the fete are channeled back into the communities which they serve in order to benefit the many deserving individuals via these fund-raising activities.

 

For this landmark 20th anniversary of the fete, the organizers have put their best efforts into creating a true family ambience, complete with all the eagerly anticipated amenities, cultural elements and entertainment which has become synonymous with the Class is Class brand.

Much to the attendees’ delight, the event offers various food and beverage options that allow both foreigners and locals to get together and enjoy true Trini experience.

The event’s impressive food spread boasts a main creole meal and an assortment of culturally diverse snack items.

The annual all-inclusive also features fully stocked premium bars where patrons can enjoy a variety of premium drinks, spirits and exotic cocktails while absorbing the entertainment.

2017’s Class is Class includes performances by Chutney-Soca crossover band Dil-E-Nadan, fete favourites Imij & Company, Samsara D Band and the melodious sounds of Scrunter’s Pan Groove. The fete will also showcase the talents of DJ Scobie who will provide a one of a kind music mix accompanied by big screen video projections.

 

Most notably, for the 3rd consecutive year, Class is Class patrons will enjoy all this party and its offerings for the budget friendly ticket price of $600TT/$100US retaining its position as one of the season’s most inexpensive all-Inclusive events.
