CLASSIFIED UNLEASHES NEW REMIX SINGLE FEATURING NYC RAP DON RA THE RUGGED MAN

Juno Award-wining rapper Classified launches one of his most daring collaborations to date, teaming up with RA The Rugged Man on the “Hoody and a Ballcap” remix. The original version appears on his latest album Greatful that debuted at number 6 on the Canadian Albums Chart. The first single released, “No Pressure” featuring Snoop Dogg, peaked at number 65 on the Canadian Hot 100, while the second single “Filthy” features DJ Premier on production. Classified holds the distinction of having recorded the biggest selling rap single in Canada of all time (nope, Drake doesn’t hold that record) with “Inner Ninja” that is inching towards being five (5) times platinum in Canada, with over 6.5 million Youtube views. RA The Rugged Man, an underground NYC hip hop mainstay explains how this collaboration came about, connecting him to one of Canada’s most authentic and biggest selling rappers. “I been hearing Classified’s name in the game for years, so when we finally connected I was ready,” he says. “He hit me with this joint and I was like ‘Yo! I love this song. Let’s make this shit special for them and I went in the booth and really gave him something personal that I’m proud of. He mixed and arranged the music and I think the shit is great. I love this song”.
