Guinness gets Behind the Screens

For the month of September, the Guinness brand will be the main sponsor of live music and performances slated for Usain Bolt’s Tracks & Records each Tuesday night.

The weekly series, which has featured artistes such as Konshens, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Sizzla and Chronixx, has attracted huge crowds at the venue.

Now megabrand Guinness is ready to take over and put a different spin on the event. For tonight, Guinness will be having drink specials, prizes and ticket give-aways.

For the first time, the event will feature two well known selectors who are also performers.

great precursor

ZJ Bambino and DJ Liquid will provide the entertainment for the night, which kicks off at 10 p.m.

“This will be a great precursor to our Arthur Guinness celebration slated for September 26, at the National Indoor Sports Centre. September is the month for Guinness, so let us all raise our glasses together and enjoy the prime entertainment.” said Raquel Nevins, Guinness brand manager.

“We thought we would put a different spin on the series by adding DJs rather than artistes. This way consumers can enjoy the music of many different artistes in one event,” she remarked.

Tickets are available at Usain Bolts Tracks and Records for $1,200.
