Introducing Alberto Renaldo Fray, known under his stage name Alfray

Alberto Renaldo Fray, known under his stage name Alfray, was born in the tough Olympic Way District of Kingston, Jamaica on August 13, 1978. He grew up and spent most of his years at West Road in the vicinities of Kingston. Alfray is the second of his parents’ three children.

During his time at Norman Manley High School, Alfray focused on playing football. Later on, he even played for the Jamaican national team. But the love and passion for music he had always had in his life lingered on and eventually took complete control.

Alfray’s inspiration comes from watching his Dad struggling every day to raise the family, and more generally from life itself. Beenie Man was the first person who introduced Alfray to a recording studio. Alfray’s brother, also a sound system selector, motivated him to write songs to riddims that he would later include in his mixes, which helped Alfray generate a following.

In 2006, Alfray was introduced to Jubba White of White Stone Productions and Dubtonic Kru through a mutual friend. Their collaboration led to songs like “The System” on the “Tantrum Riddim”, in 2015 affray was introduced to Studio vibes Entertainment C.E.O Oliver Wright where they began to collaborate and release new music including current songs “Duh Yuh Body” Good memories” Work Hard and a official music on the way also  plans underway for a EP.
Alfray keeps a steady focus towards his goals. His motto is “working hard and having an aim is the key to success.
