Toronto (July 18, 2018) – Top Cat Entertainment’s 28th annual Jamaica Day SummerFest releases the headliners for this year’s event on September 1st and 2nd at the Launch Golf Centre, 27 Director Court, Vaughan, Ontario. We have an international and local line-up of world class Jamaican entertainment featuring: Tarrus Riley, Elephant Man, Konshens, Shaddai, Tifa, Iba Mahr, Nana McLean, Razor B, Eyesus and Chux Starr.

International recording artist Tarrus Riley’s distinctive and smooth vocals are behind Billboard Reggae Chart hits such as “She’s Royal,” “Stay With You,” and “Lion Paw.” He brings his full band to headline the SummerFest Stage. Taking over the JamRock Stage will be Konshens with worldwide hits “Bruk Off” and Reggae/Soca mash-up “Elevate” along with Elephant Man, who has spawned dance moves with his chart-topping party hits “Signal di Plane” and “Pon di River, Pon di Bank.”

Jamaica Day SummerFest is 2 days of family fun and a celebration of sounds, flavours and the culture of this world renowned Caribbean island. “We are excited to bring this family event to Vaughan this year,” says Top Cat Entertainment CEO Marv Brown, “There will be Jamaican and Caribbean food, fashion and an authentic Caribbean arts and crafts market. A Caribbean Kids Zone with a waterpark, rides and a “So You Think You Can Whine” competition. There is something for everyone!”

Jamaica Day SummerFest has brought premier entertainment to the GTA for the past 27 years in a safe and secure environment. More than 15 000 have attended, and now that it has outgrown the Toronto location, we’re moving above the city to Vaughan this year in anticipation of 20 000 visitors.
