Popular UK-based Jamaican comedian Harry Gregory, known as White Yardie or Prince Harry on social media, has released a game app.

The app, titled ‘Curry Goat Revenge’, features a comical Caribbean goat with the sole purpose of causing as much havoc as possible against persons who have a penchant for curried goat.

“I was approached by the Playback Interactive App team who came up with the idea. I’ve been doing really well on the comedy scene in the United Kingdom, so they wanted me to be a part of it. We wanted to make the game stand out. It’s a Jamaican game. Jamaican dialect is used, it’s really good,” he told THE STAR.

The app, which was officially released last week, has already been getting great reviews from users and has already been ranked 43 out of 150 on the Free Downloads chart.

“It’s already gotten a five-star rating and the reviews have been good. People from all over the world have been leaving feedback and, so far, we’ve had more than 10,000 downloads,” he stated.

According to White Yardie, this app is aimed at promoting Brand Jamaica and is testament to the fact that Jamaicans are talented in all aspects.

“We Jamaicans need fi showcase that we can have our own thing. We are quick to jump on the American, UK things. it’s about time we had our own app that was unique to us. That’s one of the main reasons why I decided to be a part of this – to build brand Jamaica. We have authentic Jamaican music being played throughout the app.”

White Yardie has been creating waves in the UK comedy circuit. He has started doing short videos on his Instagram, @wyardie, which caught the attention of tens of thousands, including well-known celebrities such as Warren Weir, Sean Paul, Raheem Sterling, and many more.

He has represented Jamaica in comedy clashes, winning five of them and losing one. He is also currently in talks to be in a movie which will be filmed in Jamaica and the UK.

White Yardie also has plans to develop his ‘Captain Jamaica’ character into an app or cartoon character.
