Kananga – Let’s Talk It Over

Stephon Goss stage named Kananga, is a vibrant sound of the underground scene about to burst into the spotlight. Kananga’s vibe was sparked under the early influence of Cutty Ranks and Shabba Ranks, Pioneering kings of the Hardcore Dancehall sound of the 90’s.
Kananga is no stranger to the music scene. Since early 2000 he was introduce to Free Willy Records Label.Fast forward today, Kananga has done collaborations with artists such as Beenie Man, Lucan I and Zahire. He is currently working with Turf Music and Nuh Rush Records.
His latest single “ Lets Talk it Over”, produced by Nuh Rush Records has been steadily gaining attention lately especially on YouTube since the official video released. The song (Let’s Talk it Over) emphasizes the ever problematic issue many couples encounter, and that is having communication
failures/resolving issues verbally without confrontations; as part of the lyrics goes: “Teeth and tongues will meet, but come let’s talk it over…Rasta never want you to walk away”. The tone and feel of the song with its melancholic feel highlights the vulnerability of his feelings and softer side not often displayed by men, especially in their music. “Well it means a lot to me, through expressing my feelings through words…some man hide their feelings, Rasta [I] don’t have time to hide feelings so it’s true words, true feelings coming across in this song”.
