Konsequence Muzik is a promising label hailing from the booming city of Calgary in western Canada. The team made another step internationally, recently opening the doors to their new studio in Jamaica.

Peart entered the business with one initial thought, to become a success. His career started in 2008 with the start of a Sound System under the same name, but he explains that he has been involved in music since the early 2000’s starting the evolution of his career by building his collection of Riddims and becoming an event promoter.

It was in 2012 that the sound system Konsequence evolved into more and became Konsequence Muzik Group with his first music compilation being released in 2013 entitled “Kurfew Riddim”. Having always been interested in the production side of the business, Tristmar explains that his inspiration came from curiosity; he wanted to know the production process, starting from the building of the beat and how it became the final product. Of course having his own Sound System helped develop both his love and interest for music on a larger scale.

In 2015, their “True Colours” riddim put them on the map with the lead single by the upcoming sensation Jahmiel hitting the airwaves across the world, which then lead the riddim to also get its recognition.

Since their first release in 2013 Konsequence has already worked with a variety of international artists in the reggae industry such as Beenie Man, Lady Saw, I Octane, Konshens, Mavado, Khago, New Kidz, Future Fambo, and Gyptian, while collaborating with upcoming artists including label artist Starface.

Konsequence Muzik aims to separate their work from other producers by offering difference and diversity with their music, utilizing various genres to help enhance Canada’s and Jamaica’s music market.
