MEEK MILL – SENTENCING

PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ As of March 1st, Meek Mill will be on house arrest for 90 days. A Philadelphia judge sentenced Mill for violating the terms of his parole in a 2009 drug and gun case. Mill blamed the violation on an erratic concert schedule, but Philadelphia prosecutors linked the issue to his romance with Nicki Minaj. Mill is forbidden to work and must do daily community service with groups that serve adults, rather than teens who might be fans. Mill will also serve six more years of probation. Minaj did not testify during Friday’s hearing but appeared to be crying during the judge’s remarks.
