PARIS (AP) _ The soccer club Paris Saint-Germain is threatening to take M.I.A. to court over her latest video for “Borders.” She’s wearing a P-S-G shirt that contains the “Fly Emirates” sponsorship logo, but she changed it to read “Fly Pirates.” The song discusses the ordeal of refugees in Europe. M.I.A. has posted online P-S-G’s letter ordering her to stop broadcasting the video and to stop using the club’s image. P-S-G is not even sure why M.I.A. is lumping the club in with the migrants’ treatment. P-S-G deputy C-E-O Jean-Claude Blanc says nothing in the club’s activities suggest it has anything to do with the problems M.I.A. highlights in the video.
