Afar Music group recording artiste Oriel recently wrapped a successful mini promotional tour of the Big Apple.

The easy-going reggae singer who originally hails from Dominica, delivered a riveting acoustic performance at the famed Harman Music Store in Manhattan, recently.

The following day, he did a dub-style performance at the popular Sattama Reggae Sundays at Bar 31, also in Manhattan.

“The vibes in New York was great! It was my first time performing over there and it went very well. The audiences at both shows really enjoyed my performances. I did a mixture of old and new songs. I performed Get Me High, Free Yourself, Cruise, Confidence and Down Where I Live,” he said.

Oriel also did interviews on IRIE Jam, One Love, and, Irish and Chin Sound Chat radios to promote his new single, Get Me High.

“The song was well received by all the radio deejays and members of the public. I have to give thanks for the positive response it’s getting in New York and elsewhere,” said Oriel.

Oriel is gearing up for a number of engagements in Europe and the UK. “I’m looking forward to performing and doing some promotions in the UK and Europe later this summer. I’m also working on a number of new projects, including a fulllength album and an EP, which will be released later this year,” he said.
