Orisha Sound – World War Three ft. Beenie Man [Music Video]

Dancehall veteran Beenie Man and Russian beauty Orisha Sound officially launched a music video for their smash hit, WW3, at Ribbiz Ultra Lounge in Barbican last Friday.

The reggae/pop tune is a production of Black and Yellow Entertainment. Credits include director, Marvin Williams, Shel-K. Williams of Black and Yellow Entertainment, and Winston Price. The song was produced by Josh Stevens and K-Kov, while the executive producers were Shel-K and Orisha Sound.

Orisha said that after the successes of her collaboration with Sizzla on Embrace It, her team wanted another Jamaican act to combine with, and Beenie Man, a former Grammy winner, was a “great match”.

Orisha also explained that the connection between herself and the self-proclaimed musical doc was “natural and a lot of fun”.

The music video was shot on Waltham Park Road in Kingston, featuring dance group Shady Squad and also in the streets of Los Angeles, California in the US.

She expressed, “The response to WW3 is great in Jamaica and parts of Canada, USA and Europe.”

The Russian singer lives between Jamaica and Los Angeles, but is currently based in Jamaica.

Music industry players like David M. Chris Goldfinger, Shel-K from Black and Yellow Entertainment, disc jock/presenter, IJah Bing of Hitz 92 FM, among others were in attendance. The musical selections for the night were handled by DJ Kurt Riley of Fame FM.
