Pepsi Red Carpet to add more to YVA 2014

Pepsi Cola Jamaica is inviting patrons to go to its Facebook page for a chance to walk the red carpet at this year’s Youth View Awards.

Through this medium, a lucky follower will get the chance to win a grand prize of four VIP tickets, along with the opportunity to walk the red carpet with pop sensation and actress, Zendaya, the host of this year’s YVA’s.

Pepsi, a partner of the YVA’s for the last six years, has come up with an exciting new way of getting consumers involved in the event.

The winner will be randomly chosen prior to the event, scheduled for tomorrow at the National Indoor Sports Centre.

Also, Pepsi is imploring patrons to be fashionable, as there are special prizes in store.

The Pepsi Red Carpet will also feature Rushainne ‘Dutty Berry’ Berry of the Dutty Berry show.

According to Carla Hollingsworth, brand manager, Pepsi, “Our hosts will invite nominees and stylish patrons to step out of the Pepsi music jet and strut their stuff on the carpet to the flash of the paparazzi. Our hosts’ commentary on the styles hitting the runway will be shared live, across all Pepsi social media platforms, via photos and ‘insta-vids’. They will also award special ‘first class’ boarding passes to patrons who make a particularly definitive style statement on the Pepsi music runway.”

Pepsi also hosted a special pre-awards event last night at Brian Lumley’s 689 restaurant.
