        Poetic Commentary

          Ode To Legality

The PM is head of the Executive
His action is administrative …
Holness acted with dispatch …
He did not sit by and watch …

No one can accuse him of over reach …
The Constitution he did not breach …
As Section 99:1 did teach …
Holness’ conduct was legally fit
Alas!  Mainly legal reaction … is a misfit …

Who is trying to contaminate Sykes’ appointment?
This is quite a disappointment …
Phillips was taken in confidence
Did Phillips breach confidence?

Did he stab Holness in the back? By his disclosure … an unholy whack …?
Let us hear from you Phillips …
You are not known to seal your lips …

There is still separation of power
Do not confuse this as cover
Chief Judge is his own man …
And will not be swayed by even Satan …
