Perspective: US Backs Down On Metals Tariff

Trade War, Eh!

With the possibility of retaliation if Donald Trump’s threat to impose up to 25 percent increased tariff on imported steel and aluminum there seems to be a shift in attitude.  Reports reaching Vision Newspaper suggest that the White House appears to be inclined to exempt Mexico and Canada from this new taxes.

Retaliation

It was speculated that Ottawa, Canada was planning to sock it to the Yanks.  Canada was pressing for exemption behind the scene.  Former PM Brian  Mulroney has warned that “diplomacy could keep channels of communications open.”

Canada may hit back at agriculture, dairy products, grain and corn syrup.

Update

Vision Newspaper has learnt that the latest is that the White House appears to be stepping back.  If our information is accurate the White House is prepared to grant an exemption to Mexico and Canada.

White House Crisis

This White House is facing an excessive amount of resignations … more than under other presidents in recent times.
There appears to be a crisis hitting the White House as it relates to the departure(s) of key operatives. The latest classification is the White House  is being referred to as a “revolving door”.

Trump’s Economic Advisor

President Donald Trump’s Chief Economic Advisor Gary Cohn                 has allegedly resigned over the pending Trade War which could be triggered over the proposed increased tariff on metals announced by Donald Trump.

Resignations

Forty three percent (43) of top personnel have resigned.  This is more than what occurred under  President George Bush, Bill Clinton and Barak Obama to name a few recent US presidents.

Republicans

One hundred and seven (107) House Representatives have asked the president to focus on China and leave allies alone.

Will Trump listen?

Is this a House divided?
