Talented music producer Blaqk Sheep, more popularly known for producing hit singles like; ‘Ride It’ by  RDX, ‘Da style deh’ by  Busy Signal, and making the beats for Spice’s recent hit ‘Indicator’ and RDX’s chart topper ‘LOL’ , has released a new album called ‘90 Degrees of Dancehall Volume 3′ to already great reviews since its premiere last month.

The 17 track album project is the third volume in the Dancehall series from the hit making producer and includes singles from artistes such as; incarcerated deejay Shawn Storm, Alkaline, RDX, Busy Signal, Kalado and Sizzla Kolonji among others. Currently Shawn Storm’s ‘Richer than Before’ and Kalado’s ‘Antisocial’ are trending favourable and have been getting good rotation thus far.

Blaqk Sheep, the resident engineer of RDX’s Apartment 19 Studios, has been composing beats since 2001 and shared that this specific compilation was two years in the making as he wanted to take the needed time to select the tracks, so that the project truly represented where Dancehall is right now.

Producers releasing their own body of work in album form is fairly new to Dancehall but this trend has been popular on the hip hop and EDM scene for a long time. I take the time when putting projects like these together because  some parts of the world will only hear this project as the representation of what current Jamaican music is and I want my work to speak volumes” Sheep explained

Additional promotion for the ‘90 Degrees of Dancehall Volume 3′ album will include the release of visuals for RDX’s ‘Waistline Talk’ single as well as additional promotion on Voicemail’s ‘Dem A Wicked’ video that was released last year.

Blaqk Sheep has also launched a writers and musicians club called The Beat Club Ja which he believes will increase the unity and professionalism in the industry. His latest Dancehall Riddim project ‘Grass Yard’ has been performing extremely well and will remain a major focus throughout the year, along with completing an EP for Reggae Dancehall Duo RDX and creating and promoting projects from two young Dancehall artistes Point Zero and Mystic.
