Prime Minister of Jamaica, The Most Honourable Andrew Michael Holness, MP, has announced the creation of this new position in our security environment … labelled National Security Advisor (NSA).

This new appointment comes on the heels of plans by the American Embassy announced intention of the suspension of ammunitions and firearms to Jamaica, due to alleged corruption in the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA).

Retired Chief Of Defence Staff, Major General Antony Anderson has been appointed the first National Security Advisor in Jamaica, W.I. He will take up this newly created position come December 1, 2016.

This new position of NSA is in keeping with a trend by many first world nations like the USA, UK & Canada. As NSA Advisor this Individual will advise the Government on matters of national security.

We wish the retired Major General Anderson all the success.

The firearm file kept at the FLA for acquitted accused murderer Patrick Powell for X6 shooting death of Kahjeel Mais.

The Major Organized Crime Agency (MOCA) has since raided the FLA and seized files. MOCA is Jamaica’s version of the FBI in the USA.

Ballistic

Ballistic tests show that the same spent shell casings found at a double murder scene in 2009 matches those found at the X6 Murder scene.
