The passing of Dr. Clover Jarrett, educator, and businesswoman.

I had the honour of meeting Dr. Clover Jarrett about a year ago but knew her and of her monumental contribution as Councillor, nursing and the Church.

“The last time I saw her she was in her office in Angels, St. Catherine late 2015, and when we parted we hugged. Little did I know that would have been the last time I would have seen her alive. She gave me encouragement and appeared very much interested in my photographic and journalistic skills.

I was fascinated to learn about her training institute that was making such an impact on national development and helping people to better equip themselves for growth and upward mobility. Dr. Clover was an unsung heroine who walked with kings and queens and did not lose her common touch.” Hopeton asserted.

Tribute- JBWF President …

“Clover was a beautiful soul, a precious Pearl, a priceless gem who radiated light to all women who crossed her path. She has left indelible footprints on our lives through sermons, lectures on family life and relationships with others. The messages were powerful and profound … Clover smiled sweetly, knowingly and innocently especially if her Harry was by her side. Clover was a nurturer … her compassion and understanding were genuine and all embracing … Clover was an emphatic listener.” Declared president S. Henry, Jamaica Baptist Women’s Federation, read at Dr. Clover Jarrett’s Thanksgiving Service, Saturday April 9, 2016 at The East Queen Street Baptist Church, Kingston, Ja. W.I.

We all miss Dr. Clover Jarrett as she impacted our lives in so many ways.

Carl Marshall & Marilyn Marshall

Ambassador Marshall spoke of her “generosity and trusting nature.” He was most reflective.

Dr. Clover Jarrett’s family especially close siblings are still trying to come to grips with her loss. We know they will be comforted by the quality of her life on earth … a selfless life … a life of Christian love. We share your grief and loss. Amen!

Vision salutes this outstanding Jamaican dynamo. Gone too soon!
