These live persons pose as if statues at the official opening January 7, 2015 of Melia’ Braco Village. It was refurbished by funds believed riskily invested on behalf of pensioners of Jamaica, taken from the National Investment Fund (NIF). The NIF is the investment arm of the National Insurance Scheme (NIS).

Integrity of Fund

There were actuarial forecasts that the national pension fund would run out of money if certain safeguards were not put in place to protect fund’s future viability and thereby secure pensioners for the future in a secured pension fund. The integrity of the National Pension Fund has to be safe guarded for the future of all.

Four hundred and forty (440) workers, mainly Jamaicans will be employed there at Melia’ Braco Villiage, Trelawny, Jamaica W.I.
