TORONTO, May 15, 2018 /CNW/ – ThinkTel, a division of Distributel, is working in partnership with Microsoft on the introduction of their new Direct Routing phone system solution for Microsoft Teams that extends the power of enterprise voice technology to even more Canadian businesses.
Microsoft Teams is the hub for teamwork in Microsoft Office 365, providing chat-based collaboration, meetings, calling, and enterprise voice features. By leveraging ThinkTel’s telecom-grade infrastructure, Direct Routing for Teams enables users to make and receive phone calls to or from land lines and mobile phones.
“We are proud to take our decade-long relationship with Microsoft to the next level and work together on the introduction of Direct Routing for Teams,” said Matt Stein, CEO of Distributel. “With Direct Routing, ThinkTel is uniquely positioned to help even more Canadian businesses make a seamless transition to the powerful Office 365 platform. We are excited about the introduction and roll out and look forward to further collaboration with Microsoft.”
Charlotte Burke, VP of One Commercial Partner, Microsoft Canada added, “The way people work is changing, and organizations are continuously looking for solutions that can help foster productivity and collaboration in an increasingly mobile world. With the introduction of Direct Routing for Office 365, ThinkTel is helping to unlock enterprise-grade voice and video capabilities for Canadian businesses, allowing them to seamlessly connect and in turn unlock more meaningful connections across their organizations.”
