Tom Laing all set to release ‘Love is Ok’

New York-based reggae singer Tom Laing is on a musical high as he prepares for the release of his debut EP, ‘Love Is Ok’.

The seven-track EP features previously released songs from Laing’s growing catalogue of songs including Belly of the Beast featuring Capleton, and Finally Free, along with new recordings like the title track Love Is Okfeaturing Myrrh-cedez Gayle,

“I am looking forward to the release of my EP. I’m eager to see how people will respond to it. I believe it will do well because I’ve put together some very good songs for this project,” he said of the EP which will be released on June 30.

To kick off the promotion of the EP, Laing released the title track, Love Is OK, as a single last week.

“Last week, we sent out Love Is Ok to radio stations in Jamaica, the US and other parts of the world. The feedback to it has been very positive so far.”

Laing said he plans to launch a full-scale promotional campaign in support of the EP and his new single before the end of June.

“My team and I are going all out with the promotion of the EP and my new single. I’m leaving no stones unturned; I want to make sure that this project is a success,” he said.

Laing is also making preparations for the shooting of a video for Love Is Ok.

“I want to shoot this video and release it before the end of July. I’m waiting on a treatment from the director and I’m also scouting locations and taking care of other aspects of the production of the video,” Laing said.
