An impeccable source advised that “No one has been named in the report so no culpability can be apportioned. In short do not hold your breath for any form of compensation” the source concluded … refusing flatly to be named or photographed.

PNP Government for their own reasons failed to release the bad gas report before the General Elections, claiming it was not “ready”.

Motorist paid up J$120,000 to fix their cars, trucks etc. as a result of bad gas. Then Opposition Leader had filed a claim for damages as a result of bad gas.

Rubis, a marketing company threatened legal action if their name was called as having distributed contaminated gas. News later came that The Bureau of Standards had no legal authority to test petrol (gas). They the (BSJ) had closed up to 17 gas stations across the island. Will a law suit now follow?

News Break
