UPDATE: Opposition Leader Andrew Holness has gotten no reply from PM for compensation for bad gas.

Andrew Holness

At a promised emergency meeting held at the Knutsford Court Hotel the gas station dealers were divide as what action to take as it relates to taking drastic action to send a signal for losses due to closure of up to 17 petrol stations. Millions were lost by dealers especially “reputational damage” going forward and they were no at fault. Counting from two votes taken from the floor was just 5 votes apart … for 21 & against 26 … indecisive … no clear mandate for action.

Legal action was mentioned but no clear decision. Awaiting report from Committee set up to investigate source of bad or contaminated gas.
