Reports that the editorial staff of Vision has been verbally assaulted by some “nut” purporting to be a People’s National Party (PNP) supporter.

We will never allow thuggery to determine our future. Misguided individuals with likely questionable motives cannot be allowed to triumph. The dog or rather dog like conduct cannot be allowed to succeed. The tail will not be allowed to wag the head.

We have sworn to serve, to be the voice for the voiceless and expose atrocities. Let the chips fall where they may. We will not cover up wrong doing in any quarter. We will never be intimidated.

Verbal or abuse of any other kind will not deter us … and get you anywhere as your motives are dishonourable and not sustainable.

Our aims have always been honourable and we have never failed to be objective in both our presentation of the facts or our perspectives. We will never be dictated to as we serve a most noble cause. Freedom of speech and our right to conduct our business or present the news and our views without fear or favour is not negotiable.

Back off … you are free to start your own news organization should you not like our editorial position. We are entitled to our position … we will not run away and hide as our motives are honourable.
