Will Smith Will Be The First Guest Of Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show

On February 17th, Jimmy Fallon will be taking over Jay Leno’s chair as the host for NBC’s Tonight Show, and Will Smith will be the first ever guest under both Fallon’s tenure and the program’s new NYC set.

We expect the interview to Focus on Smith’s upcoming Warner Bros. film, but the show may be The Fresh Prince’s first opportunity to pay homage to Uncle Phil at a public appearance. Earlier this month, we reported that Smith posted a sentimental tribute for James Avery on his personal Facebook account.

In addition to Will Smith, rock band U2 will the premier episode’s musical guest.
