Yybz Kartel Moved To Maximum Security Facility

Internationally Acclaimed song writer and singer, Vybz Kartel has been moved from the Horizon Detention Centre to what is believed to be a Less modern facility, said to be overcrowded and in need of much upgrade … built around 1845.

The incarcerated dancehall artiste registered at birth as Adyja Palmer, was convicted for the death of his associate Lizard, whose body was never found. DNA and electronic cell data played a key role in his conviction.

Appeal

An appeal is contemplated by his lawyer, Senator Thomas Tavares-Finson.

Kartel’s new digs is the General Penitentiary at Tower Street, believed to be over a hundred years old. The building is of oven baked bricks and has been described as a maximum security facility.

TOK

It is alleged that singing group TOK complained that Kartel has been recording songs while being incarcerated at the Horizin Facility, hence his move to this more maximum secured facility. This claim cannot be verified by us.

Police Commissioner Dr. Karl Williams has reportedly spoken to Director of Prisons Enid Fairweather regarding this alleged complaint. Kartel’s move to the maximum security facility has since occurred.
