“ACTION MAN” NOW AT LOVE 101 FM

Popular radio personality Markland “Action” Edwards has rejoined the family station, LOVE 101 FM. Markland; who resigned from RJR Gleaner Communications Group at the end of May 2019, was back where he was 21 years ago. He occupies the slot 1PM-5PM dubbed “Alive”.

Markland; who has been at the RJR Group since 2011, was one of the first broadcasters on L0VE 101FM some 26 years ago.

Welcoming the “Prodigal son” back home were the Chairman Rev Dr Patricia Holness, General Manager Colleen Beckles, Programmes Manager Nadine Blair, and other senior members and Board Members at the Radio Station. Also included in the welcome celebration was Mr Cordel Green, Executive Director of the Broadcasting Commission.

Markland; who has been a Christian for many years and now an Ordained Evangelist, has had a huge listenership on RJR over the years and it is speculated that many will move their dial from 94FM up to 101.7FM. Based on a recent All Media Survey, LOVE 101 FM is the leading religious radio station in Jamaica.
