Amlak RedSquare: Ready for The World

Rastafarian reggae singjay Amlak RedSquare has the world at his fingertips. Like his uncle Spragga Benz, who never ceases to amaze, hopes to go down as an international star.
His latest song “Nuh Fear Dem” says much more than one would expect, and Amlak spells this out. “This is a song of determination in whatever I do, and doing this even in times of obstacles.” “It (the song) is more than what people can do to stop us in life; it’s about all types of obstacles, including COVID -19 and the Russia-Ukraine war which leads to high food prices and fuel costs.”
Rising from under a sprawling mango tree the sinjay well- groomed locks, almost tipping his waist, is a signature of the reggae culture Bob Marley and others embrace. ” My uncle Spragga is perhaps my greatest role model in music. It is he who inspires much of my songs and some of my greatest moments in the music landscape.” He plays “Round Here” a combination he did with Spragga Benz in 2014. “It is a song which spells out some of what we should not do in our community, like robberies, child abuse and things which go against our morals.”
Four strong lines are: ” Round here wi nuh skin teeth wid pedophile and rapist Round here you reputation better crystal clear..” “This song sets the stage of my music career which led to other songs which appeared on my debut EP. titled “Ganja Free”. Some of the tracks include .”Ganja Free, ” “Round Here,” and “Hard Way”. He is blessed with other EP titled “Di Humble Warrior” and “Book of Judges ” a solo album.
Amlak RedSquare embraces his three children -two boys and a girl, while his wife Neketta prepares a scene for their Music and Marriage Podcast show. This has been viewed since the past two years.”Fans from several countries including US, Canada and Germany are craving for the latest episodes. The singjay, who has performed in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and US is well-known for songs like “Nah Beg Parts” ft Ras Charmer and “Heart A love” ft. Kvng Tat, both hitting the US ITunes chart.
