The Ministry of Health in Barbados welcomed 122 registered nurses from Ghana at the Grantley Adams International Airport on Monday.

They arrived on board Euro Atlantic shortly before 9AM in rainy conditions.  The nurses are expected to improve the current shortage on the island.

Of the new arrivals, 66 will be sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and 56 will be dispersed among the polyclinics and the Geriatric Hospital.
