LOS ANGELES (AP) _ The lines weren’t so blurred for a jury in Los Angeles — in a ruling against Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams. Jurors found that their hit “Blurred Lines” was copied from a Marvin Gaye song. The jury ordered Thicke and Williams to pay more than seven-million dollars in damages to Gaye’s children. Marvin Gaye’s daughter Nona wept as the verdict was being read. The children of the late Marvin Gaye charged Blurred Lines was taken from the song “Got to Give It Up.” The lawyer for Thicke and Williams says his clients still maintain their 2013 hit was original.
