Dancehall artiste Navino was the toast of the town Saturday night when he invaded Brantford, Canada, as headliner for a concert in the southern Ontario city.

Coming out in their droves amid snowfall, Canadian fans were treated to a musical feast from local stars, followed by a scintillating 30 minute set from the Jamaican.

Navino showed noticeable growth, taking time out to interact with his audience, much to the delight of the masses, especially the female populous.

Serving up hits such as Party Me SehIf It’s Not MoneyIt’s Alright and breakout single Chillin Time on the award-winning ‘Overproof’ rhythm, interspersed with new material, a seemingly proud Navino said he was pleased with the outcome.

“It was a great feeling to see my North American fans responding to my music in such a manner.

“The people showed me a lot of love from the moment I got on stage, so I just fed off their energy and gave them a great performance. These are the kind of things that give me the drive and motivation to go on.”

Despite facing challenges last year, the singer is intent on leaving an indelible mark on the industry this year with the promotion of two new singles, DNA and Little Miss, on the Cyaatame Music and Jwill Records imprints respectively. Plans are also afoot to shoot a pair of accompanying videos.
