Business Confidence up 19 percent the highest since 15 years. This is a vote of confidence in the policies of the new JLP Government led by Andrew Michael Holness.

Commentary

Consumers rejected the lack lustre performance of the PNP led government under the leadership of Portia Simpson Miller. The economy grew negligibly less than an average 2 percent under the PNP.

This renewed business outlook/ conference is a growth trajectory that looks very good for the Jamaican economy under the JLP.

History has shown that the Jamaican economy has always grown well under a Jamaica Labour Party government. In the 60s and 70s the then JLP Government grew the Jamaican economy 6 percent or so.
