The Canadian Foodgrains Bank, a longstanding partner in fighting hunger, works with farmers across the country to generate resources for international food programs. Hussen’s announcement reinforces the government’s commitment to empowering Canadian farmers while addressing the urgent needs of those facing food insecurity globally.
Andy Harrington, executive director of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, praised the renewed support, noting that the initiative strengthens Canada’s role in combating hunger on the global stage.
