Canadian Dick Pound bats for Sir Coe

Canadian Dick Pound founder of the world Anti Doping Agency (WADA). Pound strongly defended the stewardship of Lord Sebastian Coe who is head of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF).

Coe came under fire for the the performance/conduct of certain associates deemed complicit as it relates to the doping scandal regarding for example Russian athletes.

Reacting to the situation Lord Coe has admitted that he presides over “a failed organization”

Emails reveal a damming paper tail re Russian doping scandal … who knew what and when.

As head of IAAF it is Coe’s responsibility to clean up the mess. Coe led by example by giving up his 100, 000 pound per year contract to promote Nike, the sporting shoe giant. To remove any perception of conflict of interest.

Coe 59 is married, has four children and is British born. A former world athlete who now heads the IAAF.
