Clark Moore Takes on Lt. Jeff Gibson Role in Tyler Perry-Produced ‘Route 187’

Clark Moore joins the four-part mystery drama Route 187 as a police lieutenant investigating a case that expands across South Winslow

LOS ANGELES — Actor Clark Moore appears as Lt. Jeff Gibson in Route 187, the four-part mystery drama created, written and directed by Mark E. Swinton and executive produced by Swinton and Tyler Perry for Tyler Perry Studios.

The series released all four episodes September 16 and is streaming on Paramount+.

A Mystery Unfolds in South Winslow

Route 187 is set in the fictional city of South Winslow, where the murders of a bus driver and a high school basketball star trigger a wider investigation.

As the case expands, investigators encounter a string of cases involving missing Black women and a killer who has gone undetected for years.

Moore plays Lt. Jeff Gibson, a police lieutenant working the investigation as it grows beyond the original crime.

“South Winslow is fiction, but the pattern underneath it is not. Cases like these get worked hard when the cameras are on and quietly shelved when they aren’t,” Moore said.

More Than 65 Screen and Game Credits

The Laredo, Texas-born actor has accumulated more than 65 credits across television, film and video games.

His credits include SEAL Team, NCIS, S.W.A.T. and Yellowstone, along with a recurring role as D.A. Stanny Sanders in Women of the Movement and a leading performance in Amazon Prime’s Lore.

Route 187 follows Moore’s 2026 appearances as Detective Moreno in Lifetime’s Murder in Music City and Caleb Easton in Hulu’s Furious.

A Festival Run Before Streaming

Before its streaming release, Route 187 was selected for the 7th Annual LightReel Film Festival in Washington, D.C., where it opened the festival in June 2026. It was also accepted into the RSF Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival.

The series stars Christopher Livingston, Elijah Collins, Tonia Jackson, Lawrence Robinson, Rico Ball and Cuyle Carvin alongside Moore.

All four episodes are now available on Paramount+.
