DAVE CHAPPELLE – BANANA PEEL TOSSED
SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) _ Did you hear the one about the comedian, a man with a banana _ and a man with a sketch pad? It may sound like the setup for a joke _ but it turned out to be the setup for an arrest. Authorities in Santa Fe, New Mexico say they arrested a man who threw a banana peel at Dave Chappelle during a show Monday night. The man was taken in on suspicion of misdemeanour disorderly conduct and battery. The man, Christian Englander, acknowledges he threw the peel at Chappelle, who is black. Sometimes a move like that can have racial connotations. But police say the man told them he did it because Chappelle made fun of his friend _ the one with the sketch pad.
