Yet another Minister of Government has resigned in Anguilla.

Minister of Education and Social Development Dee-Ann Kentish-Rogers made the announcement on Thursday in Anguilla’s House of Assembly during debate on amendments to the Goods and Services Tax Bill, GST.

Mrs Kentish-Rogers said she has to take accountability for the manner in which the government dealt with the GST and that in her opinion, the government could have averted this tax in the midst of crisis after crisis.

Last week, Kyle Hodge, the Minister of Economic Development resigned citing issues with the subject of GST and political party issues.
