Dominica Secures $41 Million Loan for Roseau Enhancement Project
Roseau, Dominica – The Government of Dominica has made a significant leap towards modernizing its capital city with a newly finalized loan agreement from the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD). The agreement, signed on Saturday at the Douglas-Charles Airport, was executed by Hon. Dr. Irving McIntyre, Minister for Finance, Economic Development, Climate Resilience, and Social Security, and H.E. the CEO of the SFD.
The approved loan, amounting to US$41 million (EC$111 million), will be allocated to the Roseau Enhancement Project. This initiative aims to transform the capital city through substantial infrastructure upgrades, urban beautification, and measures to stimulate economic growth.
