Etana and Alaine to Headline Mother’s Day Reggae Event in Belize
Reggae Sundays Mother’s Day Edition will feature Etana and Alaine at the Belize Airports Authority Compound
Kingston, Jamaica – Two of Jamaica’s most recognized reggae vocalists, Etana and Alaine, are set to headline a special Mother’s Day reggae showcase in Belize on Sunday, May 10, 2026.
The event, branded as the Reggae Sundays “All White” Mother’s Day Edition, will take place at the Belize Airports Authority Compound and is expected to attract reggae fans and families for an evening celebrating Caribbean music and mothers.
Jamaican Reggae Vocalists Lead Celebration
Etana and Alaine have both built strong international followings through reggae music that blends roots influences, lovers rock, and soulful contemporary sounds.
Etana remains known for conscious reggae tracks and empowering lyrical themes, while Alaine has earned popularity through melodic reggae ballads and crossover Caribbean hits.
Their appearance together at the Belize event creates a lineup centered on reggae lovers rock and soulful live performances, aligning with the celebratory atmosphere surrounding Mother’s Day festivities.
DJs and Caribbean Entertainment Personalities Added to Lineup
The event will be hosted by DJ Dixie and will feature appearances from several Caribbean DJs and entertainment figures, including DJ Dalla, Mr. Flava, Future Proof, Xclusive, DJ Special, DJ Dynasty, DJ Biggz, Mad Rocka Mose, and British Geeza.
Organizers say the combination of live performances and DJ entertainment is intended to create a full-scale reggae and Caribbean nightlife experience for patrons attending the event.
The “All White” concept also adds a themed visual element commonly associated with upscale Caribbean social events and reggae celebrations throughout the region and diaspora communities.

Several organizations and local supporters have partnered with the event, including Red Stripe, the Belize Airports Authority, Madisco, Caribbean Shipping Agencies Ltd, and Champion Security Services.
Organizers also acknowledged support from Deputy Mayor Eluide Miller and Councilor Sherwin Garcia.
