It is with much sadness that we place on record the irreplaceable losses in the football Fraternity in Jamaica. Three in recent weeks. It is as if they made a plan to leave all in one time period.

Coach Danny Lyn

It was a shock to Sports View the passing of Danny Lyn, coach of Constant Spring Football Club. He also was operator of Constant Spring Football Complex.  Lyn has been hailed as a well respected football administrator.  We express our sympathy at his passing. We were not aware that he was ailing. Lyn was a very affable individual. May his soul rest in peace.

Luton Sheldon 35

Sheldon was suffering for some time from ALS.  This is a deadly disease that attacks your muscles and respiratory system.  He represented Jamaica some 35 times and scored 34 international goals.  In fact he scored four goals on his first International outing. He plied his trade across the world, at least in four Clubs. Sport Minister Grange has expressed her sadness.

To his family we say chins up. Your loss is our lost too.
