GASTROENTERITIS OUTBREAK IN GRENADA

July 26, 2022 | By Colin O. Jarrett | Grenada has confirmed an outbreak of gastroenteritis on Friday.

Health authorities are reporting that cases had increased from 27 to 95 within a 2-week period.

Chief Medical Officer Dr Shawn Charles has called on the public to take immediate personal action to curb the outbreak.

Dr Charles informed that there has been a sharp increase from weeks 27 to 28. At week 26, there were 27 cases, then in week 27 there were 52 cases and 98 cases were confirmed in week 28.  Week 28 represents July 11 to 17.
