The reggae royalty previously won Grammys both as a solo artist and part of the band Ziggy Marely & The Melody Makers.
Ziggy Marely & The Melody Makers won their first Grammy Award in 1989 for their album Conscious Party. In 1990 and 1999 the band won two more Grammy Awards with the albums One Bright Day and Fallen Is Babylon respectively.
In 2007 Ziggy Marley won his first Grammy as a solo artist for his 2006 album Love Is My Religion.
Ziggy Marley is the eldest son of reggae king Bob Marley.
