INDECOM Case Dismissed

The United Kingdom Privy Council has dismissed an appeal brought by INDCOM.

INDECOM appealed against the local court that ruled that INDECOM could not arrest members of the security forces.

INDECOM found that ring as tantamount to placing them in handcuffs.

Commissioner Terrence Williams has announced his resignation come July 2020.

“I will not renew my contract …I think 10 years as head of INDECOM is long enough”

The outgoing INDECOM commissioner has also called on the government to enact legislation to strengthen the INDECOM act.
