INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION FOR PERSONS IN LA GONAVE, HAITI

Centre Formation Hotellerie De La Gonave, Haiti has signed an Education Agreement with Health, Education and Counselling Institute/HECOIN, Jamaica to bring international certification to the French-speaking Island.

The Contract seeks to establish the awarding of International Diplomas to students who have completed five certificate courses in Reception/Front Desk, Customer Care, Food Preparation, Food and Beverage Service and HouseKeeping. Students who have successfully completed these courses will be given a final external examination conducted by HECOIN. Having successfully completed all the requirements, the students will be awarded an International Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management. The 34 year-old international flagship institution, which is headquartered in Guy’s Hill, St Catherine, Jamaica, has a robust assessment process, theory and practical, which meets international standards.

HECOIN is happy to partner with Centre Formation Hotellierie De La Gonave. HECOIN’s Liaison Officer will hand out its first diplomas at its graduation ceremony scheduled for May 2023.
