Jamaica Welcomes New Senators: Marks and Seiveright Sworn In

Kingston, Jamaica – Prime Minister Andrew Holness has welcomed two distinguished Jamaicans into new roles within the government. Senator the Honourable Ambassador Audrey Marks and Senator Delano Seiveright were officially sworn in at King’s House on March 17, marking the beginning of their service in key national development areas.

Senator Marks will spearhead government initiatives focused on efficiency, innovation, and digital transformation, while Senator Seiveright will focus on strengthening Jamaica’s tourism sector to boost economic opportunities.

Holness expressed confidence in their leadership, stating that their contributions would play a pivotal role in modernizing Jamaica and driving prosperity.

The appointments come as Jamaica continues efforts to enhance governance and economic growth.
