Jamaican Justice Ministry On The Move

Justice Ministry Under Construction -2 Justice Ministry Under Construction -1

The Delroy Chuck Justice Ministry is moving to a new location on Constang Spring Road, St. Andrew, Jamaica W.I.

Workmen and women are today Sunday March 13, 2016 busy working around the clock to complete the spranking/newly refurbished building. The cost is not immediately known but conservatively 40 million Jamaican dollars may not be close to the sum expended.

The four storey building with elevator and very spacious grounds for parking cut a lovely image. It is imposing yet not lavish. Most befitting for the dispensing/administration of justice.

The Mutual Towers they are moving from had environmental issues at it relates to bat droppings we are told.

This new location is accessible, visible and projects an great image, as was alluded to before.

Completion will take sometime as plumbing, light fixtures and the paving of the yard is yet completed. My estimate conservatively is another six weeks before any real semblances of readiness for staff to feel comfortable. I hope they prove me wrong. Boxes and some furniture are already moved to this new location.
