Jamaican Minister of Labour & Social Security, MP Shanine Robinson Critically ILL With Cancer

The Minister of Labour & Social Security, MP Shanine Robinson in the PM Andrew Holness led administration in Jamaica W.I.

Mrs Robinson has been ailing from cancer for some time now. On Tuesday of this week PM Holness and Dr. Horace Chang, National Security Minister, himself a medical doctor visited their Cabinet colleague at her home Tuesday night at her home in St. Ann.

Following enquires from Vision Newspaper, Junior Minister attached to Labour & Security Minister, Honourable Zavia Mayne confirmed Mrs. Robinson’s failing health, but did not provide any details on the extent of her illness. She has been reported ill for some time now. She went off on leave, but has since returned to her job at the Labour Ministry.

Biography

Mrs Shanine Robinson who is a public relations specialist by profession, has been MP for North East St Ann since 2011, having won the seat in a by-election for the JLP.

We wish her all the best as she battles cancer. God still heals.
