Jamaican PM Andrew Holness Wishes Bob Marley a Happy Birthday

Jamaican Prime Minister Hon. Andrew Holness is celebrating the life and times of the late great Jamaican music legend Bob Marley on this what would have been his 77th birthday.

“Today, I join with all Jamaicans and people globally in wishing our very own musical icon, the late, GREAT Robert Nesta Marley (Bob Marley), a happy birthday.

“The Honourable Robert Nesta Marley gave the world the profound anthem, “One Love.” It has been adopted universally as the anthem of peace globally and was declared the anthem of the millennium by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

“Bob Marley was a legend in his time. He left an indelible imprint through every musical note with his message of love, hope, and peace.

“As we remember and commemorate Bob Marley’s legendary status, let us echo and embody his iconic words: ‘One Love, One Heart, let’s get together and feel alright,’” tweeted the Jamaican PM.
